Convert Access 2003 To Access 2007

I have created a Database in Access 2003 and have now downloaded 2007. I have tried converting it in several ways. I have opened my previous Database and saved it as a 2007 verion -No success, I have created a Blank 2007 DB and imported all the table , Queries , Forms Reports and Macros from the previous version. Although I can see all - The switchboard which is suppose to open immediately only opens with No information. I can only see my Background with the Logo and One Button with no information. Please help. The switchboard Form and table is still there. I have tried to recreate the Macros. I went into the Switchboard Manager and everything looks OK . The Actual Switchboard is not opening up properly. I have no idea what to do

I would suggest leaving it it the 2003 format. I am assuming that you have not gone into the trust center and changed the Macro security. To do that click the office button (round button in top left), click access options then click on trust center, click the trust center settings button, click macro settings, change it to enable all macros. Hope that will help you out.

Code does not run in 2007 unless your database resides in a folder that has been declared a “trusted” location, and Switchboards from 2003 backwards are driven by VBA code, not Macros..

      To trust your folder, click:

      Office Button (top left)
      Access Options (bottom of dialog)
      Trust Center (left)
      Trust Center Settings (button)
      Trusted Locations (left)
      Add new location (button)

      Welcome to Bytes!
