    New User to Access 2007

I am creating a database for my boss and I am a new user to Access, so pretty much I am bumbling through slowly. I created two tables with similar info for two sep semesters. I created a query for each of these tables and wanted to compare the info of each one. When I created a report with the two queries, it duplicated records that can not be gotten rid of when I click hide duplicates. When creating a query of the two original queries, the same thing happens, duplication of records. Need some help on resolving this problem please.

    Hi

This sounds like you don't have any relationship set up between the tables or within the queries, (or if you have, that it needs looking at) and consequently the third query is returning every record in table 2 for each record in table 1, and vice versa. There's a good tutorial on relationships on this site, worth looking at that first.

I have a forced referential integrity set up in the junction table, does that make a difference? I am new at all of this and I feel like this is a constant fight.
