I am new to access and wanted to keep track of vacations of the employees. I wanted develop a vacation scheduler and have it in a calendar view. I have been able to create the tables and forms to enter the data, but would like to see that update on screen in a calendar. Any help is appreciated.

This question arises here and elsewhere every few months. I've literally seen dozens of threads on the subject, some with a hundred or more responses each, and I've never, ever seen the issue was resolved! Many of these threads were responded to by developers with a decade or more of experience apiece. It absolutely is not a project for anyone who says "I am new to Access!"

You'd do far better to either link to MS Outlook (someone here may be able to help you with this) or purchase some off-the-shelf scheduling software. These will probably be written in something like C/C++ and you can link to/run them from your Access database.
