Hi Folks,
This one is from work!
Running Access 07, usually our default saving format is 2003 - not our fault.
I want to publish a database to our SharePoint system, but the database must be in an 07 format, and I can't save new databases without getting the (above) message. I have tried taking permission of the file, creating a new database and transferring the data across and changing the default format. Nothing works. Once I have made (even a very simple) database, I can't 'Save As', and if I close it and attempt to re-open it I get the (above) message. Here it is in full:
The Microsoft Access database engine cannot open the file <name>. It is already opened exclusively by another user, (no, it isn't!), or you need permission to view its data. (Error 3051).
Any ideas?
Thanx
StonwardR
