Shifting back colors on combo boxes

Using Access 2007, I've found that combo box back colors change to
transparent from normal inconsistently for no reason I can discern.
Never had that problem in previous versions of Access. I do have the
back style properties set to Normal and back colors set to white, but
sometimes when I tab out of a particular combo box the back color
changes to match the back color of the detail section.

Has anybody else had this experience? Is there a way to correct it?

Do other users around you have this problem? Do you have the latest

Maybe I'm mistaken but I don't think that this is a video driver
problem. I'm seeing this on some combo boxes, on some forms in some
databases designed in A2003 and then run in A2007. The reason that I
don't think that it's a driver problem is that I'm seeing it on
several machines including several desktops and a laptop and only when
running an A2003 database in A2007. There seems to be no consistency,
with the problem only manifesting on some combo boxes on some forms.

I tried opening one of the offending databases in A2007, creating a
new form and then copying and pasting all the objects from the problem
form to the new form and the problem still persisted. On one
particular form, I fixed the problem by individually selecting the
problem combo boxes and using the "bring to front" menu command. I
couldn't see any reason that this should make a difference, but it
did. It has the distinct smell of a bug that seems to affect A2003
      databases running in A2007.

I know that the above probably hasn't been a great deal of help, but
at least now I know that someone else is seeing the problem. I posted
about this problem a few weeks ago and didn't get any response, so I
figured it must be some obscure problem that only I was seeing.

Yes, it's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.
I think the forms in question were created directly in 2007, not 2003.
I do have some forms and controls that were imported from a 2003
database and modified, but I don't think that's the case with the
        controls in question.
