    Error 3021 - Please Help!

I'm working with Access 2000 Version 9.0. I closed a Database that i was working on and on opening it up again an Error Message displayed "No Current Record" the Help File displays the Error Code as 3021.

How do i open the Database and retrieve my Data? I have in the database about 3000 Entries of Peoples Details. It took about two months to enter all of it and now i can't access it. Please Help.

    Oh Oh......

Are you able to open the database in design mode?

If not, this may or may not work but you could try creating a new database and import everything from the orriginal into it. Do you have a backup of it somewhere?

Hopefully its only a minor issue.
    Fingers crossed.

Below is the Message that the Help Command Gives: -

        (No current record. (Error 3021)

This error occurs after the unsuccessful application of one of the Find methods or the Seek method, when the underlying Recordset contains no records or the record has been deleted. Move to or select another record, and try the operation again. If the Recordset is empty, you cannot position to a current record. Check the BOF and EOF properties.)

How can i Open the Database????

          select the database
          hold down the ctrl key
          double click the database
keep ctrl key held down untill the database finishes loading

I am assuming, here, that the database has been set to not open in design mode!

If you can't get to the tables view, try my earlier suggestion.
Let us know how you go.
