    Show new table

    Hello,

I'm creating a new table in code (dataBaseObject .TableDefs.Appe nd
MyNewTable) but it doesn't show up in the navigation pane until I close the
database and open it back up again. Is there some VB command to force the
table to appear in the pane?

    Thanks,

    Gord

After you append your new table to the TableDefs collection, you need to
    refresh the TableDefs collection:

    dataBaseObject. TableDefs.Refre sh

      Re: Show new table

I already tried that but no go. I have since discovered that I can make the
table appear in the navigation pane by clicking the shutter bar (closing the
pane) and then opening it again. Maybe that's just how it works? I was
hoping that the new table name could be made to appear automatically ...

      Thanks for the suggestion.
