Find Previous Monday

I need to create a formula which works out the date of the previous monday.

I have an entry form which is accepting amongst others a date from a user. I then want it to check to see if an entry has been made in the same working week and if so display a message accordingly.

Can anyone help me with the formula?

The function DatePart allows you to derive a week number from any date. I'd use that a the starting point and compare this derived value with the same value for other records in the table. Like so many things, this is probably most easily achieved and subsequently mantained in a VBA procedure, but you could achieve it from the query grid.
