So I've been working on this for over a week now and I'm still totally stumped. Basically I receive a sales report weekly which has several fields such as "Opportunit y # (Unique)", "Planned Close date", "Sales Phase", and others...
From this data I use excel to calculate a few things: "setback in planned close date" (by comparing the current week with the old reports). And "days in phase" by simply subtracting back to the date when the opportunity first entered its current phase.
I've been managing this in excel for weeks now and the file is getting seriously sloppy so I decided to transfer it all into one table in access from which I've been trying to generate a query that will provide me with these results.. such as "days in phase" and "setback in planned close date"..
Does anyone have any suggestions???? I havent come across a single solution for how to compare repeat data within the same table...
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Alfredo
