    Where would one use SmartTags?

In table design there's a row for SmartTags. I've not read any posts
here regarding smart tags. Does anybody use them? How do you use them?

I don't think they get much use, but theoretically they're handy:

You're going through a form listing employees and see someone you want to
send an email to. Click on the smart tag and the popup menu "Send Mail" and
Outlook opens with the from line prefilled so you can compose your message.
Saves a bit of manual labor. Custom smart tags would probably be the best
    labor savors.

"Custom smart tags would probably be the best labor savors."

I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to use labor savers or labor saviors,
      so I misspelled both.

Thanks for the update. I didn't see any examples in my cursory scan of
the help topic so I thought I'd ask.
