    Re: Reconciling Two Unrelated Tables

Preaching to the choir. I, however, hold no sway over our accounting
department and the software they use. :(

How would I go about it with the like() and INSTR()?

    Thanks!

You can try using the like() function or INSTR() in a query to find partsof
    the name in the string.

    Re: Reconciling Two Unrelated Tables

    For the like function:

In the full name column put

like "*punctuatednam e*" '(of course use your names)

add the amount criteria and check your results.
