Access 2003 Repairs but doesn't Compact

    Good Afternoon,
I have an A2K backend database which suffers fairly frequent corruption (yes,
I do make frequent backups). If I open it in Access 2000 and compact and
repair it the file is repaired and looses a good bit of bulk. However, If I
do the same thing in Access 2003 the repair takes place but the file size
    remains unchanged.

Just curious if anybody else has experienced this.

I am Running Access 2003 in WinXP. Access 2000 is via Citrix and for all I
know the OS might be NT 4.0
    Thanks,
    Mike

Especially as you are opening it under different versions here, a decompile
    might fix it.

Thank you very much. That looks pretty straight-forward. I'll give it a try
when I get back to work.
