Print subreport even though there are no records

I am sure that this has been hashed and rehashed but I am unable to
find an answer to my question. I have a report that contains multiple
subreports. The subreports may or may not contain data to print for a
given day. I need to print the subreport regardless of whether there
is data or no data. I did try to put a text box in the detail section
of the subreport defaulted to visible = no and then using the nodata
event to make it visible but that did not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
