reserved error (-1524) trying to print in Access 2007

Just tried to open reports in a database prepared in Access 2003 in my brand new Access 2007 and got this error. One of these reports has sub-reports that generate this error, but another one does not and still the error message pops up. Since the error has no explanation attached to it, I'm at a loss to figure our what's going on.

I am able to preview the report in "Layout View", but get the error when I attempt to print.

    Any ideas?

Hi. I don't use Access 2007 myself - very few of us do yet - but another poster had print problems that turned out to be a bug with Access 2007 itself in which printer settings are not retained correctly.

The third post in this thread linked here provides a link to the Microsoft hotfix for the problem concerned. I wonder if this applies in your case? Worth a look...

It turned out to be an issue with some corrupted records in a few tables which the reports were tied to. For some reason, text in some fields turned into Mandarin writing. Once I cleared those fields, I stopped getting the error messages and reports ran properly.
