    win xp support group?

    Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a group like this one for win xp support? This is the
best group I've seen for replies, and want to find one just like it for
    windows support issues.

I'm trying to help with my parents pc, which appears to be stuck in a
continuous loop of rebooting (xp home edition). It starts up and asks you to
pick the boot choice, no matter if I pick "Start normally", "Last known Good
Configuration", or a "Safe mode" variation, it re-boots! Running a chkdsk
under the recovery console did nothing to fix things.

If someone knows, that's great, otherwise I'd love a tip on a great win xp
    group like this one.

    Thanks!

Many thanks... I just posted in that group. Doesn't look quite as good as
this group, however, as over 1/2 the posts are not replied to.

At the free newsserver news.microsoft. com, you will find Microsoft-sponsored
newsgroups (probably more than one) with windowsxp or winxp in the name. I
have not participated in those particular newsgroups, but the sponsored
        newsgroups are generally very good.

If I were looking for advice regarding Access, I'd come here before I'd
go to MS's-sponsored groups. For other topics, the MS-sponsored groups
may be the only game in town.
