I am using Access 2007 and I like it. However, just when I thought I had everything completed and under control...my application will be distributed to several locations using Access 2007 Runtime and in our LAN network, the install pricess and program have worked wonderful. However, we also have a remote site who will also use the program. I tried to walk through an install of the application on Citrix....it works eventually, but everytime I try to start the program (application) in the Citrix mode, it acts like it is trying to reinstall runtime. I preinstalled Access 2007 Runtime on to Citrix network. No probllem there. The application is a Front End configuration with tables located on another server with the F:\ drive premapped. (This is where the table are). I logged on to the Citrix enviroment and premapped and F:\ drive on there as well. My application looks for the tables when they load. Here is the problem...When starting the application from within Citrix, a dialogue box pops up that looks a lot like the (runtime install) box. It just hangs there for about 8 or 10 minutes and then finally finds the tables and my little logon box activates. I know it has found the tables because the usernames are visible in the dropdown box. But the buttons on the form don't do anything. Neither the logon button or the exit button do anything. They work fine locally and in our normal LAN environment.
Any ideas?
