Saving Form Criteria

OK, so I was able to build forms using combo boxes to select query
criteria... however, now I want to know how to save those forms and
save the criteria that was selected so I can close the form but the
query will still run w/the selected value. Is this possible?

Actually, yes, the query is tied to other reports and queries. I want
to build the form so someone can change the various criteria on an as
needed basis w/out having to manually edit the query itself. I also
don't want to use a parameter query.

If you know how to use a form to select criteria and then keep that
criteria saved, that would be great.
