    Stupid infinite loop problem

Im sure there is a simple answer to this, but I cant find it.

I have done a stupid thing, put an infinite loop in a form that executes immediately I open the access file. This locks up Acess and I can do nothing.

how can I open the file without it exectuing the code?

    TIA

Try holding the shift key down while clicking the application icon. Don't release the shift key until the application boots up.

Another answer is to use Ctrl-Break once the code has started. This will normally drop you into the VBA debugger. From there you have full control :)
