    Problem with Access 2007 Ribbon

I am new to using Access 2007 and a novice with Access period.

I have two older databases that I created in Access 2000. When I open DB1 I
get the usual ribbon menus shown. When I open DB2 however, the only ribbon
showing is the Home Ribbon and when I click on the Microsoft Office Button,
the only thing showing under it is Close Database and Exit Access.

What do I need to do to get all of the command buttons back in the Ribbon
    Menus Bar?

If I am not explaining this correctly, please let me know and I will try to
    make it clearer.

    Thanks for any help...

    You mean the menu/toolbars.

Try this: right-click on the menu bar and select the menu/toolbar you
want to show; or, click the Customize item.

You can add menu items to the toolbars by using Customize and dragging
icons from the Commands tab of the dialog box. You can remove menu
items from the toolbar by right clicking on the item and selecting
Delete from the pop-up menu. It sounds like someone did this to your DB
& neglected to mention it to you.

The Customize dialog box shows all the possible toolbars available.
Click the CheckBox next to the toolbars you want to show, then click the
Close button on the dialog box. The menu/toolbars you checked should
remain visible after the dialog box closes.

Play around w/ that; learn new things - its Fun!

Note: This has to be the full version of Access. You can't customize
toolbars on "run-time" versions of Access.

      Maybe that?:

Access 2007 Ribbon Website * Access 2010 Ribbon Website * Home of Ribbon Creator
